As part of the new web site design we’ve set up this blog page up especially for anyone that has been at a gig or function and has heard us perform.
Please feel free to give us feedback or comments or even if you’d just like to say “hello” we’d love to hear from you.
We’d also like to hear from any other bands/musicians involved in live entertainment or anyone else who maybe interested in hearing more about Cool Reception.

Just a short note to say thanks for you truly superb performance on our wedding day. The music suited the occasion down to a tee and i have never seen so many smiles in one room before!!!
I will certainly recommend Cool Reception whenever i get the chance.

Hi Iain,
What can I say, my initial band cancelled on us 16weeks before our wedding, I sent you an email not holding out much hope that you (or any band for that matter!) would be available but you phoned me 10minutes later and you’d had a cancelation just 2weeks previously for the same date – luck was on our side!
I clearly remember you stating “don’t worry we will be better than your original band” and you weren’t wrong – everybody thought you were fantastic, Gavin and I, all our guests and even the hotel staff stated the music was great and they couldn’t help but sing along. The dance floor was never empty and you played for the guests – you were absolutely fantastic and can’t thank you all for “saving our day” definitely recommend and hope our paths meet again sometime!

Glad to see you guys finally have a blog where extremely satisfied customers can let any potential new ones know how good you really are! Having previously attended a wedding where you were playing, we were in no doubt that we wanted you to play at our wedding in December last year. Needless to say Cool Reception did not disappoint. We had a number of guests who are “proper” dancers and you managed to satisfy them, as well as the social dancers fantastically. You are professional, flexible and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend you to anyone, and would most definitely book you for any future functions we have! Best of luck for the future.

Wanted to thank you for your fantastic performance for my Wedding on the 19 June 2010. You had the dance floor filled all night and played such a variety to suit everyone there.
I cannot thank you enough for such a fantastic night. You were were more than i had ever hoped for.

Thank you for a fantastic night at our wedding reception. Everyone absolutely raved about your performance and said it was one of the best bands they had ever had!
The dance floor was never empty, even the first song had everyone jumping around!
Thank you again – top class band and would definitely recommend them to anyone having a wedding or special function!
